Default '67 old skool dragger

well after getting a job i decided it was high time i moved to something older and RWD was very close to buying a bog standard un-touched 100e until this popped up and i fell in love

drove the 120mile round trip to view it and left a deposit

on the way over it jumped off the trailer going over roadworks

home safely deffinatly suits my style the paint really sold it for me brush painted in red oxide and its staying that way with satin trim

got it under cover

oooh type 3 gearbox

also came with these

after a few days i had all the running gear out of it

multi coloured gearbox

cradle had a nasty crack in it

so i beefed it up, id ran out of gas okay

leaf springs off

how'd that happen you ask

exploded on impact with my hand

not really toched the car since then

so i finished off smartening the axel up

bought a 1300

and offered some wheels up

the plans are lots of fiberglass and plastic and turn it into a 1/4 mile car next winter im gonna try and get a 1700 built up unless i get really silly and buy a pinto although ive been considering volvo power too

I don't want to take the piss, but the most constructive advise I could give you would be to get some lessons in welding.

Most local colleges run evening classes.

I would say you need a higher setting to get penetration. Most of your welding appears to sit on top of the metal.

But well done for the work so far, keep going!!
