Thanks for the kind words guys 
No updates im afraid guys really, its been to jamsport for a set up, had a new uprated Organic clutch fitted along with mk6 pedal mod and thats it. Takes me to work and back everyday and drives lovely. Thats it now untill i move back in with my girlfreind.

Well its been 2 years since the original one got stolen and burnt out so thought i would go to where it was found for the first time.(my old man took the burnt out pics, i couldnt face going there at the time)
Might sound sad, but was very emotional parking the new one up there to take the pics. There was still some molten alloy and plastic on the ground, i assume from the old girl, so a little peice of it lives in the ashtray now
And the new one paying its respects!

Just great! Awesome job mate! I wish I could fit an engine on my own like you did. I'm in love with my car even after 4 years now and probably because it's my first one too. If I could only get the 1.3L engine changed

Think it may be getting close to the end now. Ive had my fun with these cars and want to move on and get my MK1 Escort finished. 99% sure im gonna break this one up now guys!
