Travelling down the bottom straight passing a couple of cars, then breaking to slot back into the filter for the hair pin. The rear wheels locked as I jumped on the breaks which slew me sidways into the gravel (100mph approx) the gravel then flipped the car into the tyre wall.

fuckin hell kid , youve made a right mess there , hope your ok mate . just think if that rollcage wasnt there , just goes to show people everyone should always be cautious no matter what there doing , i can remember ian showing me pictures of adam morans focus rear tyre blowout at 170+mph fookin right mess and i think adam is still having a bit of gip with his back and that was about 3 years ago.

That certainly proves that any track car should have a cage. Most certainly saved you from serious injury or very possibly death.
