Right got my intercooler radiator and turbocooler back from a friend who kindly modded it all to fit together a bit better for me.
first of all I had a dump valve outled welded onto the intercooler to hide the valve away
Next I had the intercooler bracket holes welded up as they where almost big enough for the rubber mount to fall through, I can now drill a single hole in the right place
Next I had a change to the bracket on the intercooler so I can bolt the rad and cooler together and make them a much better fitting unit.
the Car is waiting for payday now as I need a new top rad hose and new cooler to throttle body hose

Today I got the intercooler radiator and turbo cooler package in the car, and connected it all up, I also painted the garage floor
Dump valve relocated, new inlet pipe required as you can see
Turbo cooler in and connected up, I have plans to aeroquip all this soon so it will be coming out for some -6 welding
and finaly the garage floor, with a set of dusty footprints already

Over the last few weeks I have done a number of bits and bobs, including going all the way to ford fair and back, some of you may have seen the car there on the devon rsoc stand.
First recent thing was to fit my collins engine mounts, they have made a massive difference and are well worth doing.
next was to fit my rouse style front splitter supplied by Moose130
was a bit of a bitch to fit but looks nice in my opinion, it still needs a bit of finishing work though.
quick pic with my friends lancia HF4
I then had to be best man at my brothers wedding instead of going to central day
next was a trip to the good old USA I came back holding some nice siemens 83lb injectors, a quick call to MSD sorted a new chip to run these, the chip was also specked for a much better cylinder head some cams and a different turbo so watch this space for me ripping the engine out in the coming months, plans include big winging the sump and another general tidy up.
also just fitted some different wheels

Looks awesome mate, at least I can sort of see how mine will finish up, one day!
What's so good about the collins engine mounts then mate? Also why was the splittler a bitch to fit?

em engine mounts are good because they go some way toward stopping my exhaust from moving and hitttting the front prop and you can just feel that the engine is not flapping about on its old mounts, the splitter was a bitch because its such a tight fit and the bumper being a good few years old was no longer the exact shape that it should be.

bottom end is partially stripped, mains and oil pump bores and pistons look A OK little ends are knackered as suspected, pistons and rods are going to be packed up tomorrow to be sent for a little work, pistons are getting low comped and valve pocketed and rods are getting lightened ballanced and deburred and new little ends obviously.
