well I have a rod and im slowly making my way through the engine build, luckily I have managed to land myself a part time job at a local rolling road/engine building business that happens to have a fully equiped machine shop and engine building facilities, so far I have stripped and de coaked the head replaced the guides and ground the valves and seats and re lapped them back in, and have managed to start piecing together some parts, so far I have a 4 layer wrc head gasket, the new rod and some guide oil seals lol, so a few bits to get. The next job is to grind the crank and get rid of the damage that the spun shell has done and then de coke the pistons replace the rings and fit the new rod, then it will be rebuild time. Pics to follow.

IIRC, Unfortunately it had a heavy prang after it was sold on. Richie (KACosworth) will confirm my story if it is correct. Was a lovely shell too.

not another one I crashed this car in 2002 iam surprised it made it back on the road! The chap I sold it to said he was going to break it, would have 100% been an insurance write off but I was only insured 3rd party (18 years old) so no claim was made. Oh well brought back some memories
