ok,
decided it's time to start increasing the power, as i dont have a track day till end of may/ begining of june
taken the old engine loom and inlet off
will give it a quick clean next week and then put the new inlet on
not sure whether to get the PTFE inlet gasket on yet?
new ecu loom is already made and will be coming in just over a week, well after pay day ... :lol
so here is how it looks now

i think TBH, that throttle body set up might well be better than a jenvey set up..
because of the lengths of the inlet ETC.
should see you with 200bhp mate!
and some amazing noise when you run without filters...
i couldnt resist and ran mine on the road for the first day or so without them , as they hadnt turned up at that time lol.

well, had a few hours at llandow, then came home and did some wiring and bits and peices on the 205
had to make a new loom, for the sensors/alt/starter becuase that wiring went with my ecu loom
also nipped a bit off the sump so i can lower my rad

well i've done a little more work on the car recently,
all i'm waiting for now is my ecu to turn up, but god knows when that is
but the rest of the car is pretty much back together
bought a new filter for it
fitted my new HT leads and a coil pack
so many wires
bought a wide band lambda gauge with the controller and sensor, so fuel economy should be improved
not much room now lol
more wiring
above was a slightly older pics
todays pics are as follow

well been a fun few days...lol
ECU turned up friday, realising that i didnt have a serial lead
so a quick search on google, and found how to make a lead that convert a 15pin to 9 pin serial
Ł3 spent at maplins, few wires soldered on , job done
then was told a zetec or XE map might make it run, the XE almost did, but didnt
then Sandy, came to my rescue and supplied a base map, installed onto the ECU and fired the car, and it FOOKING STARTED, happy as a pig in shit
just took a small vid, my brother got a little carried away with the throttle...lol
sounds awesome though

well after mondays trip checking the fuel, and doing 130 "cough" kmph
the bonnet bent like a banana and i was worried it was going to rip off, i decided something was needed
so got some angle aluminum and fibre glass and here is the end result
will trim off the edges and give a quick spray and hope it holds for the weekend
