how much heavier is the gti 6 engine over the 1.9 8v, with all the mods u have done that should add up to over 15kg loss

Thats not much of a saving then. How much do you think the cage weighs, and how much heavier is the 16v engine.

had it weighed again today, after i found out (from taking the baby for a walk) that there are TWO weighbridges, about 200yrds from my house... DOH
it was again 860KG, so it's diet time, and over the next few days i shall be loosing some weight

been having a little play with my new metal punch and swagger

its not strictly true of all paints but base coats are generally suspended in either solvent or water which are evaporated off before being covered in lacquer thus making them lighter once dried

2pk paints and lacquer will 'set' rather than 'dry' so these wont weigh much less if any

thats my understanding but what do i know
