Not sure Lee, i'll have to see once i get the bumper off. Id ideally like it to go behind the bumper on the passenger side with a ducting to it. I dont want it on show smack in the middle of the Intercooler.

BIG UPDATE TIME:

The car had been parked up since natioanl Day & got a quick wash over the Christmas period. The head has been off for a few months now but just not had any time to get it back together with the arrival of our baby girl. The plan was to get the car ready for Ford Fair but time ran out sadly. Im not gonna tax & MOT it for National Day so really it's going to be ready for Germany next April

Back from Robbo's & the fun bit of building it back up...




While building it up ive now gone 4x4 cooling...



NMS poted head now on...



Quipped Thermostat...



Also sold my oil cooler & gone the remoted oil cooler route...




This is were the engine is at the moment, im hoping to get the breather on tonight & fire it up. Just waiting on the new header tank to come back..


RL's have been refurbed aswell but want to go back to 17's or maybe 18" Old Skool Comp's...


Im waiting to get the front Bell's anodised gold to match the rears, ive also ripped all the inner arch liners out & stone chipped behind, ive got new arch liners coming so all that can be built up as soon as there back...

About time too fella - looking good though!!

Just a word of warning.....watch that car cover as if its not on very tight and it moves around with the wind it starts to wear the paint off edges of things....like mirrors, spoilers etc

 

The old cover did that, this one ive had 3 velcro straps made and upto now it's been perfect. You was right about the aeroquip addictive

Wheels look alot better now you have put a bit of effort into polishing them up.
If your ever out working on it, send me a txt and ill come down and lend a hand Paul.

 

She's alive. Changed the filter, fresh oil & started 1st time. Just need to get the header tank back so i can run it up to temp & shut the tappets up.

Update Time:

Bit long winded but hey ho, The washer bottle has always got on my nerves so got a good 2nd hand one, cleaned it up & fiitted it to find id still have to cut it because of the air filter....


Didn't want to butcher a good washer bottle so decided to fit the old but spray it satin black to tidy it up....

With that done, it was time to replace the lifters as the engine wouldn't shut up....

& if Porkie can have a helper then so can we....



New header fitted...


All built up and running again nice and quiet, just need to set the verniers in...








Alls left to do is fit the new inner arches, brakes, bumper and get a side skirt clip and it's done. Then it can get the under side started.
