its a great country for wrc cars allright, i dont know where they keep pulling the money out of dont know about the friday yet Paul, due too work etc, should be floating around on the saturday ill know more nearer the time.

Have you maps of the stages or do you require them ??

Update:

After a mad few months of decorating the bathroom, baby's bedroom laying decking etc i finally got round to the car lastnight. Engine started 1st time & was left running for a whole minute & then pulled apart



Ported Head on it's way, so once it's been fully checked over & ive got all the parts off Matt it can be fitted & then go onto the next job

 

just taken a few hours to my self and read all 28 pages, vicci has been on a epic journey!!

i have to say she does look best on the rl7's

While it's in bits i pulled all the bulk head panel out as i knew it was dirty & wanted to see if there was anything that shouldn't be there. Luck for me it was just dirty with leafs & dirt. Pics make it look worse than it is


Few hours later...


One thing that did bug me was the wiper linkage, all the paint had flaked off & looked tatty, so gave that a clean while it was out...


All done...


All back together....



just need to fit the dash back together with having the speedo cable out & wait for the gaskets to arrive then the head can go back on.

Another Small update:

Recieved the oil cooler today off Paul North Yorks. Hopefully going to get this fitted at the weekend & then finally get stuck into getting the head back on once the gaskets arrive. Head is at Diva's at the moment getting a once over & the tensioner heli-coiled so there's no nasty accidents. Im sure he'll update his work once it's all done.
