Cheers mate, will be sorted just hope its quickly.
Cheers dude, not seen you for a while, hows that Evo going??
If it can go wrong mate it will happen to me, lol this car just likes to test me,
Cheers dude, it just gets abused and driven like a hooligan at the moment but hoping to get it out on track soon to really see how it goes.
Haha your time will come John, one day
Hows things anyway bud, not seen you at the track days for a while?
Cheers mate.
The splitter is off Creative Carbon through Mike Rainbird, i assume i was just unlucky with this one as have seen a few others that have not had any trouble.
Cheers Ronnie
Just one of those things, have emailed Mike so just waiting on his reply just gutting that they are like a 3-4 week turn around

UPDATE ON THE SPLITTER
Having sent a few emails to Mike and ringing him today explaining there is no way on this planet that the splitter is right it turns out that it was the bumper at fault.
When the bumper was painted it was put on a rack but due to the amount of work the bodyshop had in it was in th way and kept getting knocked so he placed the bumper on the floor as i had it in this pic
now after speaking to the bodyshop guy we think that the bumper sides may have flexed out slightly. Since then the bumper has been on the car and settled.
I spent some time today measuring and trying the splitter on one side at a time and marking where it reaches etc and it seems it will fit with relative ease.
I have spoken to Mike and apologised and explained what the problem was as i know he had been in talks with Marcus and neither could work out why there was a problem.
Will hopefully get the splitter fitted tonight before i go to work so will get some pics up if i do.

Just a few small jobs to do and it will be back out, got to fit the grills and indicators and the bumper can go on, sort the glass out on one of the headlights where i smashed it, fit grill and then i have got to make a mount for the wheel speed sensor and wire it in, the dash can then go back together and its only a case of getting some tax for it.
Not sure wether to take it to National day or not as not going to be able to get the rear 1/4 painted before sunday.
Splitter is fitted but never got chance to get pics before going to work.
Will take some pics later today, might even wash the car if its not raining.

Managed to get some pics of the splitter fitted today, am relly happy now i got it fitted just a shame things didn't go to plan last wek.
Quick pic while fitting
Bumper just placed on the car for the time being.
Went to re-fit the fog light grills but realised they needed a bit of a freshen up
So out with the satin black
While i left those to dry i thought i would sort out the smashed headlight
Removed the glass, got the old headlight out the shed and removed the glass, cleaned it all up inside and out (the glass's were replaced not long before buying new headlights so are in good condition) however on fitting the retaining clips the corner broke off
Not the end of the world, the old man is on the case looking for some new ones but Dan at Rapid Ford thinks he has some 2nd hand ones
By this time the grills were dry so got these back in with the indicators
Not a massive update as wanted to make a template up for the wheel speed sensor as well but couldn't get the car out as me bro has hidden his car keys so could move it out the way.
Hope to get it sorted tomorrow then can get my mate to make it out of steel and get that fitted up and the dash back together

Thank you for the possitive comment guys
Ronnie
Thank you for the offer but got it sorted at the minute but should i need some in the future i'll give you a call
Not done any on the car today as my mate Gaz (GAZBEAMCOZ) got his car running today so popped round to have a nose for myself, here is a quick vid of it running
Bit noisey as it only has the down pipe on.
All work done by his own hands

Did some work on the car a few weeks ago but never got round to writing it up.
Took a drive to A1 to see Steve and to let him have a go in the car, on the drive home it wasn't running its best and thought it was the manifold gaskets
So apart it came:
Was definatly the gaskets, did number 1,2 and 3
Going back together
Car was running better than ever with the new gaskets for a good few hundred miles but then for some reason it was losing boost.
Thought it was the boost controller so removed all that and fitted a bleed valve as was going to SCS to see Jimbo and Harvey about some air injectors to control boost but on route i noticed i still had the boost problem and then the Sat nav packed up so turned round and went to Brum instead but Martin is off work due to having an op yesterday so went to Marco's.
At Marco's we were checking things over and he sudgested looking at the Dump valve so had a look and it was split
Sorted so i thought, so i changed the dump valve for a spare i had when i got home what was like brand new inside and still the car won't boost over 1.3bar
While was out i thought i would pop to one of the lads houses to see his Skyline as he sold his Rs500 for it and while i was there he asked if i wanted some covers, when i saw they were headlight covers i couldn't believe my luck, i have been after some for 5 yrs
Bargain for Ł10, one has a small crack but not bothered about that, going to use them for track days etc
So a bad day turned out not so bad in the end
Just wish i could sort this boost issue out??????

Gutted i didn't make it to yours bud, just cant for the life of me figure out this problem, Martin said to make sure the blades were not catching the compressor housing as i was thinking turbo but this is perfect with no contact, only things i can think now is that there is a leak somewhere but can only be either the cooler or the inlet plenum as all the pipes are fine as had them off, checked for splits etc and refitted to no avail.
Good luck finding some bud, as above took me 5yrs to get some, lol

looking good.
cant wait to get mine back in order and mapped as were have mor eor less the same spec. just when i keep getting progress i keep stepping back and changing something.
at moment ive took all my ABS and PAS and Fuel Tank out and running Bias Box a Ally Sell. should have a lot of space in my engine bay without all the ABS modules, loom, and all the PAS pipes, resavoir etc etc.
i see you have the WRC breather in earlier post but see a big breather in corner?? or are you running 2???

He had a 3dr when they were new and it was his car they used to design it, the car had been sold a good 15yrs previous and he found it when he moved out so gave it to me

I know what you mean about changing things as i did the same.
I was going to go bias pedal, may still be a option at a later date but for now it works, might change for the 4wd set-up not sure yet as still sorting little odds and ends out
Steve was sorting the breather system so was left up to him and he made this for me, not sure why he changed it but my car has done a good 3000miles on rollers, at pod and 2am top speed runs and has never lost any oil (well never had to top it up anyway) and i check it quite regulary so must be working, will see how it goes once the boost is raised when the injectors are changed, well if i can sort this boost issue anyway, lol
Sonic Boom
Did you get yours on the group buy on RSOC BB?
I missed out on that as the order had already gone in by the time i saw it
