fair do's mate... just read this from the start, its a credit to you.
was the cage supposed to fit with the original door cards when you bought it, as i'm trying to find one that lets you keep them.

That was just a dummy fit as to see how the turbo will sit as we tried a few manifolds
The down pipe will need modifying but its not a problem at the minute as im going to run it in on a standard T3.
After it is run in i will put the big turbo on then trailer the car as it will be having a custom exhaust made.

Its a GT40 mate, same spec as Rod Tarry's old one.
Did a little bit today, got a standard manifold on and a engine wiring loom that steve is going to finish off this week some time and hopefully get it running for the weekend
Going to pop up saturday to see how he is getting on with it.
Not going to see it again till then though as im working all week and Steve's is too far away to go in the week.

I would like it to be running by next week if i can.
But for it to be totally finished will be as and when i can afford it as i can only do a little a time.
Escorton8's
To be honest mate the seats do not impare the view out the side windows that bad as you tend to sit forward in them, only time i could see a problem if you was looking in your blind spot but i won't know till i get the car running.

Cheers guys, totally forgotten to keep this updated.
There has been a bit done since the last update but mostly just been sourcing parts and actually driving and enjoying having it on the road.
I have took it to a few meets here and there, few pics someone took from Curburough Sprint Track
Also decided i wanted some different wheels so i have got 2 so far.
9x17" for the rear
Just need to get some 8x17" for the front then i will send the lot of for refurb in silver
Also got myself some proper suspension in the way of Pro-Flex
These will be sent off next week for rebuild
I have also got a few other new parts like Pro Alloy header tank and swirl pot, oil cooler, power steering cooler and a few other bits and bobs but i never took pics and the car and parts are now back at A1 Rally Sport so Steve can put my fuel system and big turbo etc in.
Will see if there is any updates from this week if i go up there on saturday

I think Steve wants to get it to National day but it all depends on what state its in and if parts arrive on time i spose.
