Been given a car .
As above an old Geezer pulled up and says " I've an old car if your interest as I'm packing up driving " ..so I go take a look .. here it is .
not bad for free .. wants a bit of work for MOT but nothing major.

Although I think it's very cool to look at and even driving is quite fun , I don't think I will be keeping it .. probably just MOT it and sell it ..as I'm really fancying a mk2 escort when this s2 is finished.

Why what else good has happened this week, not sure if I've missed something else I've been really ill. Finally got dragged to the doctors after I kept having coughing fits and throwing up and they reckon I have the flu (I'm telling everyone its the stronger man flu version )
Couldn't have happened to a more nicer person. Looks in reasonable condition with not much needing doing, is that milage genuine?
My mum used to love these cars, never ended up with one though. On the plus side she did drive a 2 door mk3 escort estate as one of her cars

Sounds like man flu mate ..hope you recover asap ..and thanks not sure how but my engine that lost all it oil on the dyno at 6krpm was striped to inspect and I got away with just bearing and a polish .and then this car happened LOL ..I too scared to leave the house now.

I've seen a few strange things happen on the dyno over the years. I saw a xr2 mk3 fiesta on carbs loose the flywheel bolts at 5K plus rpm's. At first wondered what it was till the revs dropped down and it was obvious. Lucky with that one.
