Default Been given a new fan switch but think its the wrong one?

Just bought a fan switch from my local factors. The faulty one has a red plastic sleeve on it, and the new one has a white sleeve. I have fitted it and it didnt kick itn at 93 degrees like my other infact it went so high I knocked it off?

Can anyone identify the white switch for me??

there will be some markings on it to say what the temps are when it kicks in and when it cools down

same with the old one

you need to match the old one up mate
