Stu I only had to take a bit off the caliper and the carrier. I was on project puma and got slated buy a few members for doing this. If I thought it was dodgey I wouldnt of done it.

I was a bit gutted when I pulled onto the grass and opened the bonnet. The racing got stopped and I got recovered onto a flat bed lorry then took to the pits. I bodged it then was straight back out.

It was bloody cold driving home in November for 2 hours lol.

yeah i remember seeing a thread on it but thought that was to get them under aftermarket 15s!

I'd defo put the council wheels on it mush, they suit it, looks a lot better

Will the bigger wheels slow the cars down though. They do look well though.

yeah if you dont mind mate. ive been pondering the swap but i cant really be arsed to be honest. im alright with the std size brakes with decent pads and fluid, but wcertainly wouldnt hurt.

whats the pedal feel like with them?

The pedal feels the same tbh. When you stamp on it the brakes work really well.

tbh ive more interest in stiffening the bulkhead and linkage to try and get rid of that horrible play at the top of the pedal all fwd fords seem to suffer with. maybe when my discs and pads need changing ill go for the upgrade.

ive got some mondeo 280 calipers knocking about but they need a rebuild and im not 100% on what discs id need.

Yeh I know what you mean about flexy bulk heads. You can also fit a mk3 mondy servo.
