Love that, fantastic engines too.
I'd be interested to see how they did it!

Whats odd about it? Great engine if you are in the 1.6 class, but I'd pick a toyota lump or 1.6 vauxhall instead.

No its N/A Revved to 10,500RPM I think it made around 320BHP but was very unreliable. He ran a 2.5 Millington lump after that and is now on his second JRE 2.5 lump. Man can't get enough power lol
Turbo power wouldn't suit the needs of an escort for rallying tbh you need immediate smooth power delivery.

Love that mk2, seems to be very healthy, wonder what the cost of an engine like that is?

And the rest, a new Millington will set you back 35k.
Either way, a LOT of money for an engine

A Millington is a completely custom made job, CNC head, shares practically no parts with a YB, whereas an A series is a just, an A series Any figures?

Dave not Claire.
The Mag is in my van, it was a Kad 16v head, 5 speed jk box, jenvey tb. Think it was just under 200hp and decent torque. Its in the back of this months custom car mag.
