Default My Sierra Sapphire.

hi all aint been on here in a while i had a blue escort cab last time was on here.

anyway i was recently driving a fiesta zetec-s on a 51 plate, then saw a sierra sapphire and i have wanted one since i can remember! so i contacted the chap who owned it and done a swap!

she is a:
2.0l GLSi
came with 11 months mot and 5 months tax
needs a little TLC to rear arches but other then that she generally in good condition

here she is after a nice clean

and i fitted some white cosworth dials that came with her:

all comments welcome good or bad

many thanks

looks a nice base to start modding. I dont like the white dials tho and change the red stip to black.

the DOHC engines are pretty bullet proof mate

I got rid of red inserts using black insulating tape on an Orion I had years ago.... Yeh,bit of a bodge, but cheepy-cheap! Just don't stretch it... That's the only thing id change, Rekon white dials are a bit of a marmite thing... Nice tidy looking car though....

I've worked my way through a fair few twin cams in my time, getting really hard to find up my way most have been used for banger/stock car racing caus were close to 2 big stock car tracks, it looks a good example, and yes those engines are bomb proof, my last glx was a drift car and she took constant abuse and never let me down!

I'd say a nice lower on a set of Ford alloys and as said use electical insulation tape to 'black up' your red door trim, would look smart!
