Don't think I'd run 17s on a Fiesta myself, bit big.

Think I'd stick to the OZs/Comps or whatever they are that you've removed!

The ofset on the superlegs are 35 and are 7j wide

I dont want to run 17's but got a set of focus rs front brakes for it so need big wheels. Fitting 205/40 tyres on them so the roling radius isnt far off the 15's so hopefully how it will drive wont be affected

17" Superleggeras are actually lighter than most Ford 15" wheels, they're 0.5 kilos lighter than the Focus 15" alloys anyway. As long as the rolling radius isn't too much bigger and there's no rubbing then it should handle well.

I know one thing, they'll look superb.

They're going to foul somewhere. Where, possibly on lock and arch. Almost certain.

Weight and rolling radius aren't the only considerations sadly.

I'm sure they'll go, but I should imagine the arches will need a fair bit of work. Also heard of them catching spring cups unless you run coilovers at the rear.

They shouldnt catch the arches because both front and rear have been cut away and its on coilovers aswell

What tyres are good for 17's? Looking at yoko prada spec2's kuhmo ku39's or toyo t1r's

you need to modify your rear arch where the bumper fastens to iirc. focus rs brakes will fit under 16's you don't need to have 17's comp's are good wheels for caliper clearance or a 16 inch version of the mags your taking off. If you go on fiestaturbo.com there is a step by step guide to fitting 17's here's the link

hope this helps

Sell them and find a set of 16's that will clear the brakes. 17's will totally bollocks how the car drives. Personally I would never go bigger than a 15" rim on a mk3

Give it a go 17's look really nice on your car, a little bit modding to the arch is gonna be worth it, I had to go through it with mine.

Have to agree with this. running OZ superlegs on mine at the moment. but putting 15's on next week.

Totally different car with 17's. had them on for years but never really liked the way the car handled.
