Default Pics of your yb engine bays running GT30s please!!

Hi dudes,

Looking to upgrade to one of these Badboys, but I don't think there's room for an external wastegate in there?! Or have I had too much sun?!

Are you all running them? I would prefer internal wastegate for ease of packaging if I can!

Thanks

Weeksy

you dont say what car you have. Sierra and Escorts all have room easily for external wastegates.

Nicely packaged in the kitcar there fella!

Mines a 2wd sapphire, and with the catch tank and heatshield there didnt seem to be a lot of room there!! With heatshield off:

I was thinking gtx3071r, ok for 520, an uses the same size turbine wheel as the 76. Should do me!

Thanks for the pics porkie, much appreciated dude

GT3071 with inlet machined down from 4" to RS500 size 3"..

No boost control solenoid fitted in pic above as it was being run in at that time..

Haha, isn't that the truth?! While we are here, when did you put a metro turbo lump in an arched brg mini?!

90 or 91?!

Will this use a STD 3 bolt downpipe attachment? Guessing not!

I can't remember what year it was but I'm sure Fast Car featured it in late 91.

THis is the rear housing on mine...

And thats how I did the downpipe..
