Tomorrows a big big day for me !!!
yes folks , tomorrow im off to hopefully meet one of my heros !!
im away to elvington to hopefully meet " patrick furstenhoff"
aka the ghostrider
some of you on here may of heard of him before , but for thouse who dont hes basically a living ledgend in motocycle worlds imo
currently he holds the record for the worlds fastest wheelie currently set in 2006 @ a staggering 215 mph ... the record was set on a turbocharged hayabusa with over 499bhp @ 1.5 bar of boost
he relased a series of videos but is most noteable for his " uppsala run "
this consisted of a run from stockholm to uppasala thru heavy traffic , a journey of 42 miles in 14min 55sec .. on a suzuki gsxr 1000cc
he will be attending the world wheelie speed record challenge at elvington airfeild north yorkshire tomorrow and sunday ....

the bloke is a legend, i can ride a bike but god id poooooooooooooooooooo my pants even trying half that he does i always thought there were a few riders though.
the reason they ride in them countrys is due to the law i believe something about they have to nick yoiu that day for it ?

well went to elvington , never seen soo many turbod bikes in me life lol,
got to speak to parick , funny actually as he came walking past us as we got in , not knowing who he was i just said you ok mate , he relplied " in getting to old for this shit "
then 5 min later i saw his bike , looked around and the guy id chatted to was him !!!! . spoke to him a little more , but he was having bike issues ,and didnt want to pester him for a pic
anyway saw some of the runs , jarrod jack frost of holeshot racing ran a 219 mph top speed pass pretty much out the gate lol , and gixxer thous doing 150+ wheelies were par for the day ,
also saw the marine turbine systems " y2k " bike , not sure whos heard of this , but its a jet powerd bike using a helicopeter engine circa Ł 250 000 quids worth lol
hes hoping to go 250 mph over the wknd ,

No sign of Ghostrider there yesterday.
The Y2K thing was only getting in the 190's but the Jack Frost Busa saw a 244 or 246mph pass iirc.
Was a good day out albeit a boring ride down the A19 to get there. We planned to ride the twisties on the way home but one of the lads had a burger off the van and when he got to the middle it was bright pink. Shortly after his guts were twisting and he didnt dare go the long way home
