Wife had just got the bonnet done on her car & i'd just bought the Golf so we both went along to the local VAG show last weekend, superb day, awesome weather and her car was received really well by the VAG owners
yeah it's low with the original front splitter fitted, but it drives lovely, the engine is coming up 170,000 miles and runs like a dream and returning me 34mpg it the 16v 1.8 engine aswell so MFI injection
Yeah i've sold the pumaka as i just wasn't using it and it wasn't practical as couldn't really get the dog in the boot (battery in there aswell)
Bought a low milage puma then next day seen this golf locally and bought that aswell, decided to keep the golf and sell puma on.
Already looking at doing a 20v conversion running at 180bhp which is plenty quick enough and usable and the boot is massive and has plastic liner fitted for the dog
+ my 1st ever car was a 1.6 driver MK2 golf and i always promised myself another before they become ultra expensive and rare
