Default Hal-Far raceway malta pics, 620BHP ZETEC TURBO!!
well long story short,

my dads gone to malta for a week of diving, but i advised him to take a detour to Hal Far raceway to grab a few pics for me if he had some down time.

anyway the lucky bugger did go and came across a mk1 escort testing.

limited spec i could gather was

blacktop zetec turbo
turbo: GT40
running 35-40 PSI
and making 620BHP

has run 9 1/4 second passes

He got a ride on the return run sitting on the rollcage crossbar and to say it was uncomftable is an understatment

think 620BHP is the highest ive seen as well, no dought someone has made more but im a big fan of high power zetecs

i think blue cam belts are normaly made of kevlar..

some one correct me if wrong

afraid im not to clued up on the details, as its my dad thats overthere and hes not a massive petrol head lol, he did get his email though so i might be able to find out more..

sorry crazycage, as above, dont know much bout the car other than what my dad did tell me and what i can work out from the photo's

the best time to date was 8.8 seconds when it had a zvh engine.this engine is still under development so watch this space!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
