Jase your right it is down to personnel choice, I'm very much for the original look and how they came out the factory. You just get sucked in by what others have done. I'm also resisting temptation to take the BHP up to stupid levels.
I'm on the look out for the amber lights if you hear of any let me know!!

I do have smoked rears and middle panel for the rear of mine but ive never got round to fitting them, I do love the smoked look and I dare say at some point I will fit them but I wont be screwing the middle bit on I will use double sidded pads so it can be reversed at a stroke
Ive changed my cars appearence so much, Morrettes, OZ's, Ultralites, Sharks Teeth, Clears on the front, 4x4 bonnet, TSW's etc but ultimately I always end up back on Lattice wheels and standard headlights if they made them in 17's or 18's id never change again
Stage 1 is nice and comfy, safe and relatively cheap to do but dont be afraid of stage 3 if the head gaskets done buddy, I keep mine regularly oil changed and maintained and its very happy at 360bhp and with my MSD chip its awesome on fuel (off boost) theres nothing to be scared of when it comes to a nice K&N, stainless system and a chip.
If like me you bought yours after someone had "rebuilt and renovated" it, go back to basics and start again mate, mine looked amazing especially underneath but things like cambelt tensioners in the wrong place, drive shafts and prop loose as well as dangerous fuelling etc meant he might as well have not bothered and I ended up doing it all again anyway.
Get some more pics up mate!

You're best off buying them off someone on here, the original deep dish 6 spokes like the one above pop up on here from time to time. But they don't make those anymore, the newer shape are pretty cool though

Frozen 2wd cosworth from Finland. I have used it the whole winter, but i do feel bad for it when the degrees sink to -30 degrees. This is to everyone who says cosworths are not useable

Just little test driving with summer tyres and broken VC... My Cossie will be used in winter occasianally when I get some problems sorted out and fit new viscous coupling for winter. After all, its 4x4 so it would be shame not to take it out on nice winter days.
