Last time he went out with it he ran under 9.5 seconds on his first run which blew his chassis tag so he got sent home.

c20let powas!.... i killed mine at eds phase 2 (270bhp)....Piece of bollocks it was, stretched 2 rods and compressed my cometic hg inbetween cylnders at 16 psi ( recipt from chris astley build 2k mile ago!

Mine got to around 550-600 before cracking the block open, Qrew is on a reenforced block though.

 

lmao good old vauxhall! my bottom end was apr through out with stud nut kit, cometic 1.9mm and somehow after 2000 genuine miles it managed to stretch 2nd and 3rd rod! and leave a lovely score up the bore in number 4!!

Bad experience with vauxhalls now... even c20xe's im scared of

 

Any engine is only as good as the weakest part or the person who built it.
The rods arent really all that good as standard, but with steels available for a couple of hundred quid its not really an issue as anyone with any sense changes them TBH

 

cars always appear slower than they are when there shot from that angle
