lmao good old vauxhall! my bottom end was apr through out with stud nut kit, cometic 1.9mm and somehow after 2000 genuine miles it managed to stretch 2nd and 3rd rod! and leave a lovely score up the bore in number 4!!

Any engine is only as good as the weakest part or the person who built it.
The rods arent really all that good as standard, but with steels available for a couple of hundred quid its not really an issue as anyone with any sense changes them TBH
