I think there a poor fitment on the rears

The top cup doesn't fit the body well, almost a square peg in a round hole if you know what i mean

are they that bad a fit?

i just bought a 2nd hand pair of rears, not even sure which parts to retain from the old shock when fitting, any idea what i should be using and doing to make the best of what sounds like a bad fitment situation?

you need to use a couple of the old top mounts when fitting your new rear coilovers although fitting is piss easy

yeah , you defo need to use the small metal cups from each side . thats all you need from the old rears . as for the fronts you dont need the 1st top mount as you get new ones but you will need the cup under that & the small cup that fits inside that , if that makes sense lol . i think people just make a big fuss about coilovers yet i found them very easy to fit & adjust !!!!!
