Was that 1.17 on slicks, cause there are a fair few seconds a lap difference from that alone typically.
People like the Nick Williams in the Stirling Broadcast sponsored escort cosworth who race there go round in under 1:10, which is just a mental pace, although obviously he'd get nowhere near that on an action day on road tyres!

He knows how to peddle it round there too.

Laptimes do the talking though, and yesterday I was testing, I lapped in a 1.17.2, which is 3 tenths off the class lap record. At the last meeting that time would have put me 2nd overall on the grid behind the lone Evo on a 1.16.9.
If you get the time have a read of it: http://www.zsoc.com/forum/showthread...81828&page=108
Alot of work has gone into the car.

Yes mate, castle combe, I just cant see how he would get round there that quick on t1r, more likely he uses them as wets and something like 888s in the dry surely?

You need to sign up to read it. Sorry.
888's aren't allowed. He uses T1R's for dry and wet.
Here's a vid of last years best bits from him. This was with his 1400 engine, I dont know his fastest time with that engine though.
