I was managing 37mpg out of it bud, wasnt bad at all but i do over 20k a year.

My son was moaning about not having a window to play with and having to fold seats forward

Above all i miss the boot space for my valeting hoovers/wet vac etc for wee homers i do so makes sense and the fact i got another focus estate diesel of my bro for mega cheapness now he has passat lol


Its a crackin condition wee car for the cash, few wee usual niggles but its 15 years old and french lol

They have come down in price now you can pick up an old tatty phase 2 for £800... Sad really

Nope, its still on the drive with the front end stripped. Got the engine almost rebuilt now, just waiting for stuff to come back from powdercoating then it should be back together just after easter.

You can come and strip mine and paint it all if you want I just rebuilt my rear beam but i didnt paint it lol

I did think about it, but decided to do an engine bay resto instead, as you do!



Beam rebuilds are easy once you get into it, folks say its like a black art but mine went easy enough.

Yeah, i done mine with carl chambers, he had all the right stuff and done loads before so it was pretty easy going.

Yeah, I get abit bored of it day to day driving and it dont seem anything special so its nice taking it to places like pug fest to get so many compliments about it and its addictive ragging it up the hill
