christ i bet that was a real lag monster on a t3 full boost about 4.2k at a guess maybe a tad higher ?

The turbo kick in quick at 3k. Got no pics but looked stad
Still got mk1 r5 turbo at the yard.

it started making boost at 3k i take it ? my little t2 doesnt make full boost until 3k starts boosting at 2k

Is your T2 still on the 1.4
My T3 was no the 1.7

this is my 4th 5,ive tried most cars ive had every colour escort turbo and fiesta turbo,s1,205's,saph cos, escort coss,r32 evo 5,7,subarus 2x focus rs,c20 lets,red top novas and loads more but a 5 is just pure fun and fast for what they are

aem wideband kit
sfs rad hoses
iv also bought a carb thats just had a full rebuild and is set up for 20psi and 285 cam afrs of 11.9-12 so bang on obviously it will be checked when on my car.
sending t25/t2 off to wilky on monday for a rebuild and t28/cosworth bits fitted in there
am off up to gt motorsport this morning to get a price on fitting the fmic and all the plasma gauges and wideband kit

defo worth doing mate and also clay barring, polish and waxing, i was going do that process again but no point as bodywork is getting tarted up soon

Interesting. Always wanted to do one , for fun and giggles rather than owt else.
In the cold weather a brush handle fell on my rear arch and cracked it. Need to fix that as well.

cars booked in next friday to get fmic and all gauges fitted, going next month to get new turbo and 285 cam fitted plus diff carb fitted already set up for 20psi

grrr my bloody clutch seems like its on its way out so iv sorted a deal with steveL(top bloke) for his old valeo uprated clutch am hoping to get a l/b flywheel on there at the same time i hear nothing but good things about these on a gtt

yeah i hear they are really good am going for one that weighs nearly 7kg less than standard so it should rev very well

Seen 1 of these tonite down Bassetts Pole on A38,cant remember last time ive seen 1 on the road, real shame as they are a classic in their own right.

Thats almost exactly the same as I have on mine !
My wastegate penny is mounted slightly differently but hey ho.
Its a cracking spec for the five. It spools at 3500 ish , quickly , and doesnt ever seem to drop off..

Spec of mine is identical to yours. 42 trim front and 63 rear IIRC with a pulsar wheel !
Pulls like a bloody train once its going. Just doesnt run out of puff. My right foot runs out of resolve to keep itself planted as the needle shoots waaaaaaaaay into the red ..
