Use to work on them years ago , can be a money pit but use a group A gasket , the right plugs 16 psi and jetted right, strapped cooler or alley jobbie , make sure the radiator and perk fan is up to the job check all the electrical connections , dont waste your cash on a group A carb it just has a bored out body and buget for a clutch and a day to do it with much loss to nuckle skin.

They can be mighty quick so have fun.

i thought the same about the seats but trust me on this they are by far the best seats iv sat in i might get the re trimmed in black with a bit of red tho.

plans for new year are hybrid t25 @20psi rejet the carb and set fuelling
2.5" downpipe
get bits of bodywork sorted
and a few essential things

well i can well and truly say that the yesmobile is back taken the car for its first proper drive since dec 22nd today and boy did it put a big smile on my face cant wait to get the few bits done and have it back on the road properly at the start of march

i was going to get the t2/t25 .63 that i have fitted but im going stick with the t2 until it starts to wear and just add the ktec downpipe i have along with a unique gt motorsport turbo elbow , this will keep me more than happy for the next few months

took advantage of the decent day we had yesterday to give the car a good going over and mini valet inside plus pumped all the tyres up as they had lost quite a bit of pressure whilst standing, but on a sad note iv discovered it has hgf whats got to me the worst is that there are receipts for the head gasket and bolts from september last year so it must of been done on the cheap.

heres a few new pics with a pic of the filler cap

As stupid as it sounds, are you sure its not condensation thats built up in the engine whilst its been sat over winter months or is it really quite bad?
