Picked my new car up a couple of weeks ago, finally had time today to clean it up and take some pics!!

Might lower it a bit, maybe some silver side stripes and get a map on it, that'll be it probably!! Might also sort some of the smoked headlights for it

Appears to be abit of an electrical fault there Rich! Your foglights are on?

Looks good though, leave it as is, don't put silly stickers on and cheapen it!

I agree to the lowering of it though and the smoking of the front headlights

Very nice Rich, i do like these, my Nephew had one and i was quite suprised how it went, he had something called Dream Science on his, think it,s some kind of map you do yourself...

Yea thats right, the dreamscience is a plug in tuning box, plug it into the ecu socket, and it uploads a new map. I'll probably be looking at the bluefin unit, will take it to 270bhp, should do quite nicely

Haha definately! Is it a model thing, or just on the option list? Thought it could be ST3 only, but i've seen plenty of st3's without them.

no dont put the side strips on

lowered, smoked lights, and finish off the colour coding ford whould have done on the plastics

Not too sure. I thought that it was to do with age, newer pre-facelifts seems to have them, like mine an '07'.

Dont like stripes either but, its your car. I colour-coded the fog surrounds. Looks miles better than the grey plastic.

mine is a 56 plate too but i have seen a few with smoked headlights and they were on a ST2.
a few people have told me they were on 56 plate's on but i dont have them
that is my car in my signature

Ok cool, I might enquire as to how much a new pair of smoked units would be, wouldn't need any of the innards or ballast packs etc as I would swap them over from my old lamps.

They seem to go for mega money on ebay!

I traded it in. I was going to sell it privatey but the trader offered me Ł300 less than I could have sold it for private, so I thought it just wasn't worth the hassle and got rid!

Love the focus ST

Code Red in my opinion is the best remap to go for, my ST went like a rocket after doing that

I did sign up to stoc, first of all I didn't receive the registration conformation email for a week so I couldn't get into the forum, then I got abused for asking a question that was previously asked in 1976, then it wouldn't let me post more than about 5 pictures in one thread of the gallery section!

get dreamscience mate choice of maps and you can sell it on without ahavin to worry about having it reset i have dreamscience on mine best mod i,ve made

Thing is dreamscience is very expensive, its got all the touch screen shite and 9 different maps or something that I will be paying for and will never use, all I want is something thats got a 'go really fast map' and thats it

Just out of interest, do you ever get over 25mpg, even before mapping it?

If I get 25mpg, I see it as an achievement and have driven like a granny for 3 weeks.

On a run (if the computer thing can be believed) it will do 32mpg, however tootling round town or when giving it some beans it will do mid teens!!
