463hp, stock let, ARP rod bolts and head studs. £81 ebay KKK turbo, custom inlet and exhaust manifolds runing on a Emerald Ecu.

All home built and home mapped.

It will be a TOTB this sunday

In short he has no idea what it is, it was advertised as a T3/4 to be fitted to a Supra, its marked KKK K27 but its far exceeded the output of one of those.

Its a lag monster though, journal bearing.

All steel engine with a GT4088 is sitting on a stand waiting to go in the car eventually along with the nitrous setup that is yet to be used.

I think he is aiming to take on the Thrust SCC

Very nice. It got an XSpower FMIC, the really do a god job for the price.

Shame I'll miss it at TOTB.

being totally honest I wouldn't expect much from it except top speed, its laggy and torque steers everywhere which is why I nervously started laughing at the top of 4th ! He's currently trying to address that situation as we speak though

Mental, any more pics of the whole car?

I'd like to do one of these, was thinking of Z20 LET'n my corsa C for a laugh

Does it have equal length driveshafts? or can they be fitted from another car if not?

awsome! my mates building one for about that sort of power, mine was only 300bhp(ish) and that FLEW upto 150(ish again still running an F20!)

so can only imagine what 463bhp would feel like, looks like it gets power down fairly well too!!!!

Its already on them, geometry isn't right as yet though

Low down its fairly alright, lag helps traction, still lights them up in 4th though but 4th is over and done with in a few seconds then you have the torque steer in 5th to contend with

You know that old 911's had K27 turbos too, I believe they can run fairly big numbers and are lag monsters even on the old flat 6.

Theres one on the scene around here .. Burgandy red with Speedline corse rims ..

Running 385BHP .. Only give away is the front mount .. NICE

That is the thing, you could build that into a Corsa with full road trim and it would still be ridiculous and short of the intercooler you would be none the wiser lol

Aye the Rim's hide good brakes on the red one ..

It aint even badged up as a GSi or anything .. It's got a big back-box on it but driving normal you would never tell it's secret ..

The lads had it for a few year as well .. Hurting peoples ego's! Tireless fun I reckon.

The only nova turbo I've had was a phase 3 let one I shared with a mate in 2003.

That was a Nova sxi, totally stripped on 14" steels

Even when that was standard it dusted a new FQ330 to the suprise of me and the Evo owner lol

I think their only on a 2.25 inlet as they use the K27 on the S2's like I have.

Whatever it is it made 463hp @ 1.6 bar so its not shy

Aye thats what I like about the Old Vauxhalls .. All the engines will just bolt into any of the cars

Redtops .. C'LETS .. Even the V6's ..

Wouldnt mind a nice GTE champ with e C'LET in it .

Plenty of Going on ..

Bet the EVO owner went home and beat his wife that night

He started to build the Corsa as a track car but now him and his mrs are having a baby so 2 projects was a no go, the Corsa being the better of the 2 cars was chosen as the base as its properly caged etc..

The other engine will be in there later this year I expect but that does depend on how long the current one lasts

I will lol, it literally has a very narrow power band but thats only as he doesn't want to rev it on stock rods, I'd be interested to see what that turbo will do on the other engine..
