What do people think?

I am contemplating some spacers to bring the rear wheels out a bit more and fill those arches. I like how the fronts fill it and would like the rears to do the same.

It's hard trying to draw a line where you stop modifying a car which was meant to be un-touched

Looks cracking, in tip top condition anyway, what engine is in it ? I have the Zetec S model with the 1.6 tdci unit, and I love it.

Love the wheels, was always going to get a set when I had my Escort, I think they are sitting damn close to perfect on the rears, maybe only a wee spacer in there?

Thanks mate, it's just a petrol 1.4 model. Not working at the moment due to cambelt snapping, but a new engine will sort that out.

Yeah just a little bit of spacing out, I don't think to get any issues with rubbing so might just leave it as it is, I only know of a 12.5mm spacer which might be quite far.

Rob, I was going to in the past but decided against it, I don't mind these ones apart from only having a reverse light on one side.

She's also had a nice wash today as it was filthy.

It's amazing how a decent set of alloys can transform an otherwise ordinary car.

Is that back tyre soft or just the way it's sat?

and lowering of course

2 things I think should happen to any car as standard

Yeah it's soft, shall need to pump them up when the car is working again, cambelt stripped some of the teeth so needs a bit of work.

Thanks guys

Sorry mate only just seen this. HID Kit was about Ł90, very easy to fit. I wrote a guide on a Fiesta site if you are interested I'll get the link.
Very nice Fez mate

Thanks alot guys

Rob, I got 45mm, the lowest ones you can get for this shape without going custom/coilovers. I think it's a perfect height with the 17's as it sits just perfect.

I think it's still very comfy too, I used to have a Corsa on low profile tyres on coilovers so this is like a luxury car. My family beg to differ mind you

Looks nice mate!

I'd get some st side strip's if I were you and you can get them off a facelift 5 door

Mine was too harsh on the original dampers with the -45mm springs so I got coilys and it sits about the same height as your now you've got it bang on for the height

Thanks mate

I'll look into it, not much more I want to do to it, just a couple of small bits like perhaps removing the side strips completely. What springs did you have? Mine are Spax and feel fine

Spax -45's it is then. Just trying to find some wheels now. Tried some AEZ multispoke 7 1/2" 17's They were ET35. Rear look good, the fronts fill the arch and then some.
Also trying to get a price on a new set of softspoke 17's

Nice and easy to fit them what with it being a newer car, only bitch was in the top mounts water had got in and the nut had got rusty. A blast with an air gun didn't stop that for long though

Copy cat

I do think they look so so good on these though.
