Default My GTi
Well, she has been a bit neglected, so a nice clean, treated to a nice Alpine iPod stereo and Focal speakers fitted and i took her out for a blast to get some good pics. I forgot just how good the suspension and brakes are. Anyway, pics do the talking and yes, im afraid im now being law abiding with full size plates too.............



















Despite the fact im in the reflection, i like the pic

i think overal its a very nice looking car - only thing that i would have to immediatly change is the dash.

is that some awfull marble or airbrushed effect in there?

LOL at the dash comments. If you're sick at that god help you if you had kids nappies! But its a bit marmite and i think flocking would be next if this was the car i was spending my money on! 16i just put paid to that!

looks good

what brakes have you got if there THAT good? when i had my GTi the standard brakes were rubbish if you wanted to press on abit.

Just kept the standard drums, but renewed everything, and 4 pot HiSpec setup on the front. The car just stops very well and the brakes take a lot of abuse. Simple.

Yes, the standard brakes were utter shit when you got a bit 'spirited'

Dont get me wrong, they arent like the setup i had on the S2 (with 300mm PBR 4 pots and Saphy rears), but they are just very suited to the car.

Std Escort brakes....hhhhmmmmm let me think.....Rich Tea Biscuits springs to mind

First mod i done on mine was (in the first week i got it i might add) 280 fronts and rs2k rear
