Not sure if this is the right place for this question?, but I'll give it ago anyway.
I'm been looking into getting a new Canon camera, been looking at the Canon 450D, but looking on ebay there's some good 400D's around. I know the 450D has a bigger screen, but what else is better about this camera worth paying the extra amount...

Well after reading this thread loving the quality of the pics me and our lass had a drive to jessops today JUST for a look and after 15mins decieded to get a nikon d40

Went for a random drive to london last night (450miles ) and took a few pics.

About Ł70 in fuel so not too bad. Left Wigan at 18.00 had an hour in london then drove home and got in at about 03.30 this morning.
First time to the city so was worth it for me

Right here is a couple of pics with my new camera...NIKON D60 with a NIKKOR 18-55MM VR lens.....
I have never used a DSLR camera like this before infact my last camera ( upto yesterday ) was a CONCORD 3.1MP...LOL, But after reading this thread i wanted to give it a go, So please don't laugh at my attemts, But feel free to offer me some advice on how i can improve....
Really want to try some night shots like red16 next...

Not sure mate i was playing with BIG ORD but there the rs turbo was never far behind, We all pulled into pets at home in the arnie and had a bit chat....
Wish i knew you were down durham today id have popped down...just on ebay looking for a bigger lens.....lol

Dont know how it kept up lawnsy lol was a canny night that lol. was canny coming off the church mouse roundabout kept up to ya till about 3rd gear.On way home the heater matrix burst lol fishy smelling water in footwells,lovely!! Think i must of give it too much abuse that night . Think wi gonna have to have a North East Passionford photoshoot there a few people wiv dslr's now whos up for it one night?

Am like that Ben when a do occasionally go out lol shoot loads and end up wiv bout 3 pics good thing wiv digital tho is ya can just delete them wivout the cost of processing

Some great pictures; seen Chris's on MSN. 
Danneth's are good considering how long he's had his camera though, impressive. Love how the background is blurred on Lawnsy's. Proper cool. Keep them coming.

Ed, my favourite on is the tractor shot, the sky in most of the shots is a bit overexposed imo.

Ben, its the sigma 10-20mm. Use it a lot more than I thought I would, the distortion gets a bit much sometimes and then other times it helps if you know what I mean.
