Radders...
Before I bought it, people often mentioned that they handle well.. and true, they do.. sticks to the road nicely.. Feel so much more confident throwing it about, compared to in the escort.. Would like to take it out on the track and see what its like..
Surprised about the brakes tho (although they are very good) Id have thought these would come with 4 pots on the front

Is this a common problem, if so, I'll tell them to do it for the principle..
Many thanks for the comments

I have a 52 satin silver one, great car.
Looking for a black one for my sister with no luck, soooo many nails out there
Westy, 2nd gear can be an issue on some, as can streering racks, reverse gear and rear tyre wear on the inside, due to the rear cambers not being adjustable, so you would have to fit aftermarket kits so that it can be.Steering can be heavy on parking, think this is due to it being electric so give it a blip on the throttle when parking and turning.
Some don't seem to wear as bad as others so just keep an eye on it
www.civictype-r.co.uk is worth a visit for some info
what you pay for yours, looks nice.

I love mine, bit guttless low down, and the power is nothing like a turbo, but that screamer of an engine is fun
Great cars, seats are fantastic, gear positioning is spot on.
I would say the only downsides are, they can be abit squeeky
steering when parking is a little pants and the turning circle
makes you look like a leaner driver doing a 5 point turn
BUT, so much car for the money, got mine for 7k and is a cracker, just got my little sister a black one for 7500 and it is MINT and I mean mint, not a single mark on the whole car, not even a stone chip and totally original
Not sure how others feel, but actually prefer the more savage looks of the pre facelift ones 2001 - 2003
