My beloved ex-sapphire
This is the one that got away.. I really LOVED this car to bits, but sold it to buy an esc cos, my biggest misstake ever. The car lived on for a couple of years til it met it`s doom by a drunken driver.
Anyway a couple of pics from when I had it:
and the esc cos that replaced it:
Due to my love for the sapph I desided to get another sierra and got this:

Word! that desicion has been bugging me for years! still love the looks of a good esc cos, but personally I never liked it at all. Actually I liked the sapp better than the 3door aswell, but current mods should compensate at least

A 17 year old car, but gives me a great buzz like no other...

Thanks guys!
The stuff I did`nt like about the esc cos was, the seatingposition, feels like VW golf. The interior is extremely plasty and seems squeeky and loose. The gear-ratios of the original box is useless.. boring to drive (with 346bhp), pain to work on compared to sierra. Just my two cents
Staffi, know what you mean, there is just something about a good sapph! think compared to the 3door it might be down to the stiffness of the shell and casterangle that makes it more stable at high speed.

Yes i hear what you're saying, i used to get sweaty palms over 140mph in the 3dr.. saff is more stable, gives you more confidence..
