Default Photoshop tip please

ok, got a pic with small white writing on it, how do i removed it so it looks like no text was ever on it? what tools are needed?

The writing is on a solid colour by the way.

Dont mind posting it here, its just a random pic i found and ive been playing with it so i can learn some new stuff on photoshop

Next up is removing text, and the only way i could see of doing it was using smudge but i think theres better ways than that surly?

The clone tool

What you need to do is study the way the gradient lies.

Then select the clone tool and use the soft edge brush.

then following the gradient (on this pic diagonal top right to bottom left)

clone the area next to the text.

It takes a bit of practice and plenty of 'step backwards' until you get it right.



Hope that makes sense. its all ive got time to explain at the mo. shout if you get stuck.........

clone tool? all i can see is clone stamp/clone pattern?
