you have not answered my responce to your origanal question milesy
but can see from above comments you are unable to recognize banter plus what you expect on a internet site with as many users as this one has from time to time you will get opinions you dont agree with or want but if you ask a question as in this case a rather silly non sence making one you will get silly answers

jason fair point as my responce was based on this thread which be honest was not very clear what you ment does sound like you have been met with replies from the minority of members who seem to love being sarcy and unhelpful.
pf is a good site with loads of very helpful members and i hope you stick around as sounds to me by the list of cars you have had that you are a ford nut

Dont let the minority of sarcastic/unhelpful members put you off mate, i almost did the same thing when a few members on here were very rude and disrespectful in a thread that my other half posted, but why should i let a few idiots spoil my enjoyment of what is otherwise a very good and helpful forum.

greg if i wanted silly banter i would have put a silly question, in my eyes i put i perfectly reasonable statement asking if anyone had for sale a pace half width intercooler and was met by 2 sarcastic comments and to a new user of passion ford that doesn't make the person feel very welcome or very comfortable!! I am a true ford lover and have owned 13 xr2's, 2 xr2i's, 1 xr4x4, 4 xr3i's, 2 xr3's, 2 fiesta rs 1800, 4 fiesta rs turbos, 8 escort rs turbos, everytime i stray from ford i always go back!!! This site got recomended to me by various friends, and alot of the stuff on here is very good and very helpful, but i recognise friendly banter as good as the next person as i have been on this planet a long time lol but this wasn't it was sarcasm to a new member. kind regards, jason.

The ford scene is very "cliclky"
Its part of the reason why as much as i love the cars i wil never buy another rst or cossie again.
Ive gone back to VW's now, and its unbelievable the difference in "banter" on the v dub forums compared to here. Much more chilled out and about the actual lifestyle, rather than about money, whos got the biggest/best/fastest.
So sadly your just gna have to put up with it, this forum can be a very helpful place for information, but sadly you have to accept the "banter" which comes with ford type people!

Thats the problem though its not just the Internet is it now.
The Members who Post, or is apart of the night shift Mafia Wars tend to abuse this website and post Sarcastic Comments or what some say, Harmful comments. Problem is, not only are they give themself a bad name, but also passionford a bad name, the members who use this website correct and dont slag others off, or get involved in there topics are the good ones.
I dont see the point sometimes, how hard is it not to post your negative opinion? and remove yourself from that topic.
Now i bet half the people on here, what are part of the Passionford mafia and night crew are them who probs wouldnt even say anything in life, and are little maggots who think

To be fair ive just been kicking butt on another site for all this sort of rubish where the average age is about 19-20 I started coming onto this site hoping to find abit of half decent, mature conversation.
Doesnt look like im going to find it tho, internet or not ur part of an enthusast site and abusing and belittling people is just small minded and pathetic
Abit of light debate, diffrence of opinion is one thing
I was just about to pay membership im not paying to be faced with this everytime u wanna post about somthing nearly all the post on the site ive looked at this sort of thing is going on
Best get back to talking to the kids I surpose
