54 reg ford ka 1.3 tuning
hi our lass is wanting to tune her car and wondered if anybody had a clue what to do with it, i put the airfilter off my car on it for her and it really does feal nippier but its still only a 1.3 lol i wanted to put my zetec in it but she wants to keep the std engine and tune that so if anybody can help us ill be much appreciative

shes got about Ł900 to spend whats left out of her loan, tbh im not r8 botherd bout it but she is nagging the hell out of me and she sure aint driving my car lol

allready got a nos kit off my bravo mate, is there nothing else for these engines? what about the 1.6 stuff from the sport ka ould any of that work?

The early KAs used HCS lumps with leccy goodies. Surely this means you could fit the mechanically similar 1600 xflow engine from a mk1 XR2 without too much bother?
Ditch the fancy fuel and ignition shit and run it on carbs and dizzy.
Of course the MOT man might moan about emissions..
For Ł900 what about a CVH conversion? EFI 1600 or similar?
Dunno what the custom mounts and mods would cost to fit it but the engines are virtually free these days if you can find one left in the scrappy.
