Morn du / hello.

Im using Focus RS turbomanifold on my Mondeo.
Think you can also use Fiesta RST manifold.
i payed £50 or 75 for my Focus Rst Manifold (slightly used)
But British Mail Was Stealing just as much for sending it to Norway

But it looks like its better flow on the one you linked....

Im also using Fiesta RST inletmanifold, Nissan 200S14 370cc injectors.

frode23@hotmail.com for msn.

et lite bilde for å vise morroa.

hi iam new to the site
and also own a 97 mondeo
which is running a 2.0 16v silver top engine which has done 63k

iam intested in turbo'ing the car
but iam on a budget, have been looking at bits and bobs getting idea and plans

i want to run on the std internals for the min then put some forged pistons and h- section rods in with a cap of 2.1

what i would like to know is which bits should i get eg rs focus will fit a treat and dont need to much modding to fit the engine

so a spec list of bits would be handy along with pictures etc to help me on my way

if you ask me?
im gonna use the same as paul.
'
The original management. -yes.
370cc injectors.
EFI innletmanifold.
Dont know yet if im gonna use decomp plate or forged pistons.
Thats the smallest issue, and the only one not sorted yet.
For exhaust...im running a 4x4Mondeo...so the normal exhaust dont fit...
im running custom built 2.5" simons.
and as mentioned above ..Focus RS manifold.
(im not aiming for Much HP since i can have it legal with 180BHP)
And the Mondeo4x4 cant handle any power

There is more fun to come.....ive got 2x96Mondeo4x4
Im thinking of making a RWD Mondeo... that would be kinda .... YEAH!

who is paul?
and what management is he running?

you said you are going to run 370cc injectors
will they fit the std silver top mondeo fuel rail and plugs
and what is their max bhp out for eg 200bhp+ or less as i plan to run 280/330bhp

also plan to run c20let pistons as the are forged and run a comp ratio of 7;4.1 and have a bore of 86mm which will take the 2.0 16v up to 2045 (2.1) and they are good for 350 bhp max

exhaust manifold rs focus
custom exhaust

as for inlet manifold wanted to run std inlet manifold
or get jam sport manifold
and a 70mm throttle body

as for gasket was going to run a wrc multi layer from pj motorsport
or get a multi layer from work

not sure what management to run
was thinking bout ms or something like that

intercooler is a stag tho

got some fast road cams and pulleys but not sure if i should put them
in the car thats the cams or have them spec up to bd10
and also run a jam sport performance head

also the turbo is a stag as i dont know what to run
was thinking about a t28,but sure if that would fit the rs exhaust manifold and external waste to ?
if not which actuctor can i run 31psi etc
also which dv or bov should i run and which one would be best ?

but need some input and idea's to get me going etc

haven't you got to modify the redtop pistons to fit the rods first?
also you'd be better off using the standard cams rather than some fast road ones, as they were designed for NA use, not turbo unless you do get them reprofiled.
believe the focus manifold won't take a t28 or external wastegate either.
what i was going to do was run a standard focus rs manifold and turbo, just to give it a basic turbo build and then build on it from there gradually, rather than do all the high end expensive parts in one go

the zetec block needs to be bored out to 86mm to fit the pistons as the std bores is 84.4 mm
the c20let pistons dont need to be modded i dont think i belive it is the rods that need to be modded to fit pistons but that only applys to std rods
but i plan to run h section ones with apr bolts

ok the std rs manifold cant run ext waste with t28 no biggy
just stick to normal, will the t28 fit the std rs manifold tho ?
if not will go down the std rs turbo route with manifold

what do you mean by a basic turbo build to steve?

by basic i mean running pretty much a standard focus rs spec rather than external wastegate, air injectors, ALS etc. pretty sure a focus rs mani won't run a t28. couldn't remember if it was the rods or the pistons that needed modding to fit. with the build i was planning i was gonna do rods and pistons anyway so it didn't bother me. was going to a bomb proof bottom end, and then crank the power up later

Now i have bought som manifold and some internals.

- Eagle H Rods.
- Wiseco forged pistons
- OBX Focus RS Turbomanifold
- Custom inlet manifold with a big plenum.
- ARP Studs for the rods, camshafts and crankshaft.
- Performance bearings to the rods and crankshaft.

So the things im missing is Gearbox, Clutch and a T3 Turbo with an internal wastegate.

mondeo4x4: Norsk?! Hvor er du fra?

I ordered the pistons from www.protrim.no a norwegian tuning company. Gave £520 for the pistons, and £430 for the rods. The pistons are custom made from germany(i think). And the rods are from America. Everything is ordered from ProTrim.
I can take a picture of the manifold when i get back from work!
