Default sub trouble

hi peeps just bought myself a fusion sub and amp kit fitted it yesterday but cannot get the sub to work everything is connect right the green power light is on the amp but no sound any one got any ideas?

May be a fucked sub i know a guy who run's a car audio shop and he's had a few of them fusion sub's come back because they were fucked for some reason (must be a bad batch) or try another set of rca's

i bought it from helfords as a kit it had wirning kit sub and amp with it but ive fitted it now and thrown the box away do u think i shud just drive down to helfords and show them what the problem is?

i still have my recipt for it

check the sub with a 9V battery. Connect the terminals together and if it moves its working. Its doesn't sound the best but it will tell u if its working

You probably spilt your lube on it knowing you

Do as monsween said and connect the + & - off a 9v battery to the + & - of the sub, if it moves then your problems lies elsewhere but if it doesnt the voicecoils fucked

anywhere will stock em, its the wee square ones that go in smoke detectors etc etc

got ya i know which ones u mean now shows how much Mr Shannon knows he said its the vibrater ones which are AA lol

i tried it with AA batts and the square one but no sound is coming out so i think i will have to go and take it back to helfords where i got it from i found the box and everything for it last nite and i have my recipt.

is there anything elts i cud try before i take it back should i re soulder the + & - wires to the sub or will this void any warrenty?
