Depends on when you passed your car test, if it was before feb 2001 then you dont need to do it to ride a 50cc. If you did your car test after then you need to do a cbt, strange rule really but at least if you do your cbt you can ride up to 125's.

All those older mopeds are incredible though, definately built to last!
that will have been a 172/182 or a 210cc then... mines a 50 and it always lifts to wheelie. DONT get a runner lol.. engines snap with ease and are expensive fixes, whereas a 2 stroke 50/70cc would use less fuel and cost a lot less to maintain/get parts for.

Tom's right, seeing as though I only passed my test a fortnight ago I definately need a cbt

I'm looking at things like Puch Maxi's, simply because I love their patheticness really

by the way, c90s are not mopeds or scooters as they have proper size wheels and the engine is not on the swingarm - they are proper small capacity motorcycles

Iv built and raced loads of crf50's and they are more or less the same engine, you can get them up to 11-12 hp for a couple of hundred quid if your looking to make them a little quicker, even on a 50 a kitco 88 light bore up, decent 24m carb and a cheap as shit e22 head will make 7 hp.
