right,im 38 now and am fancying doing my bike test.

over the years ive had quite a few bikes,fzr 600,couple of fireblades,gsxr 750 slingshot,later gsxr 750,zxr 750.so i know i can ride them but never bothered to take my test.as i got older and wiser i stopped riding.

im now itching to do it.

my question is-when you book these 3/4/5 day courses do they include the test at the end,so in a week you could be on a bike-legally?

or do you have to wait,like cars?

 

i did my test a few years back cbt monday morning then onto a 400 bandit in the afternoon and tuesday and wednesday morning did my test passed

i hadnt been on a bike for about 5 years

so yeah you can do a 3/4/5 day course and be all leagal

 

just done a direct access course. started monday morning & passed my test wednesday morning at 10 am.
i had never ridden on the road before, just had a few motocross bikes over the years.
was with mike williams motorcycle training in bolton 01204 402715. fantastic instructors.
Ł 370 for everything theory,cbt,training & practical test.

 

get it done jay cost me in total about Ł400 , i did the direct access course but i had 1 lesson a week after doing my cbt and theory , and booked my own test date but had too wait a month for that , but passed everything first time

was that the final straw the other day at the meet seeing me on mine

 

i did a couple of mock theory tests last night on a website and passed them both.
i can ride bikes but wouldnt ride illegally now,hence me wanting to do this.

ill try and sort it next few weeks....

i have just booked mine as it is going to change soon,there are 3 of us booked up to do it.

just have to get a bike now.
