update finally

havent had any enthusiasm for a few weeks as i lost my door and i have been doing my hyundai up but door now found so ive had a little go with it tonight

how i started



and after alot of fillering sanding and shouting i got to this stage
and i tried honda adriatic blue on it, sort of suited it but is a bit too dark to show its features if you know what i mean




still have that problem with the boot lol

needs some really wide peppor pots in black with the car being a beige or white colour

but il tell you anyways, it went for a nice flight today after getting :censored: off with the boot, some would say to test its durability but theres nothing wrong with it so i built it well lol

im going on goliday tommorow for a week so after that thereill be some progress but nothing yet

 

well a few of you may be pleased to know that from tommorow this thread is going to start up again
have recently had the erge to finnish the fescort, havent done anyting to it due to cars and school but i found it learking under my bed screeming finish me so i thought might aswell lol
so tommorow will be a fun packed day of finishing the bodywok on the fescort and moving on to the interior mods and bumpers/lights and engine etc

 

look foward to seeing it

 

right sorry for bieng so late but the programme on titianic was on and i just simply couldent miss it

anyways today i have sanded the body ready for final fillering tommorow and have got some of the interior done
but sadly i cant upload them due to the damn computer

as i said all i could do is sand that day but i have also painted the interior and the body shell has had some paint
getting ever closer to finishing now

also brush painted the interior aswell it started off grey and blue and is now matt black and cream/off white)

Looking good so far. I would say that the back needs more fileing before painting tho.

whats milliput?

 

Its a putty, that once mixed together, can be used to fill holes, make body kits etc...

We all use it and is easy to use. Once it sets, it can be drilled & filed smooth.

Cheapest place to get it is on eBay, about twice the price in modelzone.

I use it to fill holes, like when I did my Dub Mini & smoothed a few bits on an EsCos WRC.
