hi all
done some more today to the fescort( mixture of fiesta and escort
)
done some more choppy chop
my tools for today( finally got my milliput

what im aiming for in the end

cut the slam panel off the escort

and the light holders and grill support

then some of the wing where the lights go

and the bumper mounting came off
bare front

i then used an old dvd case that had quite thick plastic to make a front end strcture

what i used

then i started on my bonnet

more on that later lol
the front got treated to some filler ( sorry about the dark pics )

and to show how hard it dryed

the back strengthening bars

front built up a but more with milliput
( by the way this is my first time using milliput so it isnt the best
)

and the bonnet with the fiesta lip being built ( unfinished)

front back together

and some end of day 2 pics

update:
done some ore to the fescort today
firs of all i sanded back the milliput i did yesterday

with the bonnet added( still needed alot of work)

then i started on the boot

cut off the back

and bonded on and placed on the car to check levels etc

and then i ground down the ridges on the side as the mk1 fiesta doesent havethem

then i added filler and ended it because i sliced my finger with the hacksaw and it was hurting

also added milliput to the bonnet ( i decided to add too much instead of too little lol will get dremmeld tommorow and filler applyed

doors also ground and filler applyed

managed to get one smooth before my finger hurting

its now got fiesta light holes instead of the escort ones
will all get smooth tommorow and more filler applyed in places where it needs it then i will be adding some fiesta highlight to the bodywork then it will be in primer and i will start the intrerior
let me know what you think so far
Just seen this on ebay.

yeah its fun building it
but ime having a hard time with the bonnet and the boot
gonna need to rethin the boot as it curves too much and goes down too far so im going to have to get it shorter and straighter

sounds worse than it is
the only problem with the bonney is that the milliput needs sanding and it needs some more filler on the front
the boot just needs a piece of metal straightening then the part around the window needs streightening on the back to accomodate the straightend metal
