The Ford 427 SOHC HEMI engine looks like a total beast! im gona try import a ford engine for the capri, looking at a V8 justnow!

plus iv noticed, stripping the engine on the escort mk3 so i know more about the model, i found a screw holding it in & in the Norev capri's engine bay, it has a screw in exact same place but its holding some random piece of plastic to act like a spring on the steering. im gona try fit the escort engine & will tell how i get on in a bit!

Nice one,its good when you discover little 'tricks' the engine from a minichamps Sierra Cosworth drops straight into a sunstar Mk 2 Escort,screwed in the same place .
My parents used to have one of these red Capri's a 1.6 Cabaret with stripes down the sides,iv'e seen them on a white one looks good.

I'm not sure what engine was in our Capri,think was a Pinto or OHC (over head cam).

As far as i know there isn't (no one makes any pinto engined models) its a case of trying to make your own,which im sure someone on here could do

Update on the 90s mk1 Golf.
Am happy with the shape the now, just needs a little filling and smothing in places.
