mate top work your done there, very quick but i would of waited till the black one came out then done it to that one as the one your done was a limited edition but its still really good work and it looks smashing well done mate.

 

i will not reply to any guess as u might get it right lol

 

here you go, theres a set of 4 (might be 5 actually not sure) theyre the perfect size for a mk3 escort just need some lower profile tires.

the engine looks spot on for what i need it for, what do i have to do to get it? lol

capris smart by the way! dont let the fact its the limited one it bother you, the blue and orange are awful colours lol

 

heres some pics of my scooby too for anyone interested, it just needs some numberplates, ive got loads of autoart STi numberplates somewhere just cant find them lol.




engine bay and underside are colour coded too. i could do with another one to rob the lights and windows from as these ones are a bit scruffy, but it was bought broken with bits missing anyway so im just glad ive made something out of it.

 

i keep getting runs ect first i tryed it red then i tryed it white 3 times now i just give up lol

 

got my rs 4 spokes today thanks but i thought they were going to be painted, ive not got the right paint to do them for now

 

thats my fault mate was so busy rushing around trying to get everything posted monday totally forgot about yours and ford model builders needing painting....
will make it up to you though bud

cause i got my stuff today of steve i had to do somet,i brought the wheels for my broadspeed but i think minilites look better on that so i put them on this
also put clear indicators on the front



& got the last coat on the mk1 estate

You are spraying too much on, do plenty of dust coats to build it up, will give a gloss finish after 3 or 4 dust coats, then 3 coats of laquer

 

yeah i like it too,i had to mix up a colour for the bumpers aswel,turned out good,just got to get rid of the black line & on the door bit

roy the mk1 estate looks mint, love that colour.

wierdest things just happened, painted a set of wheels with the same matt black spray paint at the same time, three have turned out spot on but ones a proper deep shiney gloss black! wierd!

the four spokes look much better on the mexico mate and not just saying that cos there ours
dont know why but they always look better on other peoples models than mine....lol

thanks yeah thats it mate, i was wanting to do it WR blue or one of the other subaru blues but this was the closest i could get in halfords, im glad i didnt go for white now!

 

oh steve i meant to ask, are the lights and handles gonna be alright to do mate? wasnt sure wether theyd be awkward or not

i got a load of black 2.8's on order to modify one of my ideas is i wonder how hard it would be to make one into a mk2 capri?if you resin kit boys think its a good idea feel free to make a conversion kit i will buy one

 

Put some lights on the Pumpkin, so I can see it at night. Its a great way to nacker the dogs out before bed.

i have ordered 6 of the blacxk 2.8's

1) standard
2) laquer red 2.0 laser (my old mk3)
3 &4) signal amber 3.0 ghia my brothers last capri one for him and one for me
5) 280 brooklands
6) either a mk2 or a capri zakspeed turbo or even a tickford

 

any one got a good guide? wouldent mind tryin my own, anyone got a rs fiesta model? PM me.

 

the handles should be easy but the lights will be tricky but should be able to do them!
your other bits are almost finished so will send them all together mate , bet you cant wait to get them all back together...lol

Thats what im doing with mine, but leaving the wheels as standard but with decals. Even swaping over the door cards & windows for the propper effect
