what you think to my new borbet alloys on my 3dr

 

do you reckon i should leave them totally silver like they are or do the inserts black with the silver outer lip????

the quality aint perfect so ive put thick paint on them to try level them out then ill flat them back before re-painting the centres so what you reckon to colour

id do the centres of the wheels gunmetal, and leave the dish silver.
didnt actually pay the full price for them did you? theyre expensive considering the quality :shock:

 

yea Ł17 quid lol not worth that at all the centres aint even fixed and dont fit properly ill see what they look like finished lol

i finish this today very hapy with it
all i have done is paint in between the spokes with gloss black,
and going to put a exhaust on it later when i can
will have to get out the polish and get all my models clean from finger prints lol


i might do the bumpers satin black later whats do you's think

nice i wanted to do mine in white and make them deep dish style but my SUPPLIER aint got any deep dish wheels at the mo

 

that nitromors stuff is great stuff but i hope i dont have to get to the bare metal again (lesson learned) lol

i know what you mean Colin i need two sets to do my sierra cosworths but to be honest i like the look of Alans sierra with the borbet alloys

 

it looks good you will get a better paint finish
i have to get some nitromors for my sierra RS500 touring car to get all the stickers of and paint so i can spray it white make it a road car

i might paint the wheels white and still keep the gloss black in beween the spokes
