right i have been rebuilding my focus over the last couple of days but i have the bloody flu thats why its taking so long.
just got to repaint the back rear lights with clear red and its fininsh.

but got a problem with the front window i was spraying it around the edges and some of the paint is on the inside of the window its just over spray anyone got any idea's how i get it of.

thanks man! ive always liked the splitter extentions you get on escos's.
i think the bonnet needs another coat of matt black so thats next then maybe cut out the back seats and fit a painted cage.
thats the plan anyway.

bonnet doesnt look to bad,you can buy the interior out of the rally escos,they some times on ebay but go for alot of money,i fitted 1 in my wrc cossie,looks loads better.

yeh i kinda guessed that they would be pretty pricey!
id quite like a custom cage so might give it a go!
i used that nitro mors stuff for the bonnet to take the red paint off and i was surprised at how it turned out with only one coat of the black!

yeh these wheels have been painted.they do look good those wheels!
as for the splitter i made it from that clear plastic card u get on boxed items. lol!
i just drew a template of the orginal front splitter then made it a bit longer in depth and cut it using scissors then trimmed it with a scalpel.
once it was painted black it looked quite cool on the car!

it is quite hard to do if you dont kno,you need to kno the car your making,ive had a real 1 so sort of remember what is was like,
you could always look at pics,that what ill do if not sure.
then just look at model & work out where your goin to cut the roof,then move it back to the back of the car,stick it,fill in the middle of the roof with plastic, thens its the filler that gives you the shape.
your prob better off trying bodykits or somet smaller first.

i've seen them on ebay in excess of £80.
this does have a few minor faults but nothing that takes away from it being a top model and getting very rare now.

lucky you! ive tried about 10 different torrents for the pc version and cant get any to get a decent download speed! guess its gonna have to wait and go on the xmas list lol

finally got my new porsche today that i baught a few weeks back!
was having to wait on a payment clearing from paypal that took over a week!

no m8 its's an anson metal series. i thought that it was a UT porsche too.
there are a few on the bay similar to this but different colours.i'm guessing that these particular ones are also getting quite rare as the price has jumped up quite considerably and i havnt managed to see an more this colour avaliable since i baught this.

just thought id put a little update of the mini up as its ready for paint now any ideas on colour as it was going to be baby blue but unsure now so i was thinking of something different?????

during thanks to milliput just the arches as that was all i was going to do




then decided to do bumpers


then thought bollocks ill do a full kit inc spoiler




and now all rubbed down in primer with the roof finished in black and im well pleased how its turned out just top coat now when i choose a colour
also painted the minilites gloss black with silver lip which also turned out well







sorry for the mass of pics lol

while i was feeling handy with a paint brush i made these for my orange and black race scooby
they were matt grey so painted them gloss black with orange lip and done the callipers orange to match


and my new shelf raisers arrived today so this is how my cabinets look now

did you get the flock powder i sent you yet i sent some to dave too i sent you some red black and blue and sent dave the rest which was black grey silver white blue red and orange as i dont want to use it anymore cos ill prob fook it up lol

sounds good mate, ive got wheels put away ive had ages ready for projects lol love the jap stuff, you can be a lot more creative and get away with it than you can with fords!
my type r came today aswell so my collection is getting closer and closer to how i want it

cheers mate thats really nice of you, owe you one (well, a few really )

dip your finger in some tap water and smooth it down before it sets, then just go through different grades of sand paper to get the right shape then flatting etc

ive painted my mini lol decided on this colour and its gone mint im well happy





and painted the centres of the seats and door cards to match so its fully trimmed lol
already painted all the outers black


and all the chrome door handles and light surrounds have been painted black to match instead of chrome gonna put it on ebay when its done see what it fetches

heres my scoob wheels too which have also gone mint pardon the chubby fingers lol

mini looks sweet as mate, where do you buy that hycote paint? none of the local motorfactors i used to get it from sell it anymore! i havent been able to find any for about a year and a half now, i thought they stopped making it or something

buy it from sewells car spares mate i much prefer it to any other never seems to react with anything they have any colour in the world even ferrari rosso red porsche riviera blue all the rare colours the new ford frost white lambo pearl green lol
