Hm - this car is mine. It was built by a friend based on the SunStar Mk3.
Here's a link to the conversion. Thought I posted it already

where do you buy your decals ?
I need S1 Decals for a conversion, but can't find them - neither in Ebay nor in german modelcar shops.
Wasn't there a Mk3 Cosworth Illusion here in this thread ? Are there more pics of the conversion ? I want to build one on my own.

been pottering on with this evo over the last few weeks,
how it started;
original interior;
painted door cards(rears match but no pics)
original/new dash, flocked the top and painted it flat grey/gloss light grey
new headlights on the left, old on the right. also meshed the bumper and added a massive intercooler
modified the rear spoiler so the supports are further apart, painted bonnet roof & boot matt black (will be getting some carbon shortly) and trial fitting the cage.
stripped off the original graphics too
needed some modding, but it fits perfect at the right places, all painted flat silver & glossed, done the wheels white too
then got all the interior put together & painted;
and a crap pic i took this morning when i put it together
not quite finished yet, but done for now!
also got some cossie bits off my mate in a swap for an impreza shell, so ive got a nice set of escos wheels for sale;
i need a pair of 3door back lights, and an rs500 upper & lower spoiler if anyones got them.

the evo is an ertl/rc2 model. can get them on ebay for about £20 in different livery;
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Fast-Furious-T...3A1|240%3A1318
come in red/white/blue/yellow and the original lime green, which is more expensive usually.

Right,im giving up on my Escort cosworth wrc,ive got so many projects on the go i need some funds for parts!No reasonable offers refused!
It doesnt have its mudflaps,the standard mirrors have disapeared but i do have some jap style replacements that seem to fit ok.The spoiler is there but its not stuck to the car.The steering doesnt work at the mo,there is a small crack at the bottom of the windscreen under the wiperblades and there are a couple of small scratches on the bodywork so good for using as a base for a project as i was going to!
3 Escort cosworth rims(not sure where the 4th went???)
Also have these wheels,cross drilled brakes,rear silencers(with screws to fit to the underside of your car) and a MOMO style steering wheel
(WHEELS ONLY FITTED TO SHOW WHAT THEY COULD LOOK LIKE,THE RED COSWORTH IS NOT FOR SALE!)
And finally ive decided to part with my mk2 escort,ive only had it since february but needs must.Its in as new condition although i think the clear part of the box came away from the cardboard bit.It cost me £39.00 from modelzone,i'll take £30+postage.
Cheers guys,i'll post up somemore progress pics soon!
