I've just had the same thing your stuck with joining the rs owners club for a value! And they don't take mods into account! I got an 8 grand value but have bills for around 15 grand all on big tunning stuff as well. So when I insured it I dident insure it on my valuation lol as it was only for 8 grand so I insured it with the company based on what I had spent and can prove for 15 grand

I'm with need to insure and pay 500 and some thing a year it works out 64 a month 10 months! It's 500bhp and I have full ncb. Although I don't insure it on the valuation it's still best to have one because if anything did go wrong the min I'd get is the valuation of 8 grand

Valuations are done (by RSOC) based on what the car would cost to replace if stolen, damaged etc, not what you have receipts for as with any valuation.
May be worth speaking to Carl or Marc who are the sapphire registrars to see if they can help

thats as I said lol so it's not always worth insuring your car on an rs valuation it helps as you will have a minimum price but dose not help if you have spent a lot modding the car!

This, just send in the pics and get them to agree a value. If you've got documented bills etc should be easy to get what you want.
